FLUFF: Congratulations Jessica Simpson.

It’s official! Jessica Simpson, the once daisy duke rockin’ 90s pop singer, now Weight Watchers enthusiast, has tied the knot for a second time.

In an intimate ceremony earlier today, Jessica exchanged vows with her partner of four years, NFL player Eric Johnson.

The ceremony took place in front of 200 close friends and family at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montcito, Santa Barbara County, California. The guest list included Jessica’s younger sister Ashlee, her fiance Evan Ross and other A-listers such as Jessica Alba.

E News reports that Jessica, 33, and Eric, 34, opted for a traditional ceremony. Their guests were seated against a backdrop of rose gardens, and under a canopy with chevron seating.

Though the finer details of the ceremony are yet to be revealed, Jessica did tell the Today Show earlier this year that it would “definitely be extravagant”. In her own words, “I don’t do things small”.

Simpson has been married once before, tying the knot with singer Nick Lachey in 2002, before divorcing in 2005. However, US Weekly have suggested this time around Simpson has ensured the finer details are markedly different.

Her dress was apparently “very different from the Vera Wang she wore to wed Nick” and a more “rustic-chic” style theme was used to decorate the venue.

Jessica simpson married Nick Lachey in 2002.

On an appearance on Good Morning America in January, Jessica hinted that the planning for her wedding day wasn’t going as well as she’d have liked. “We don’t have an actual [wedding] date, but we do know that we want it to be this year. We need to get married!” she said.

The pair met at a mutual friend’s party in early 2010. By July they had made their relationship public, and in November of that same year they announced their engagement.

There wasn’t much time for wedding planning though, as within a year Simpson announced that she was expecting a baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. Two years later, baby boy Ace Knute Johnson was welcomed into the world.

The lack of a wedding didn’t stop them from feeling like an “old married couple” though. Jessica joked to GMA that Johnson must be serious about their relationship as “if he wanted to run, he could’ve run when I was hormonal and pregnant“.

Jessica sure does seem well and truly loved up. In May she gushed to her fiance on Instagram:” I am so honoured to be the mother of your babies and loved by you every moment… I can’t wait to marry you!!!”.

Well, the wait is finally over Jess. Congratulations.
