'Time together, being close.' Jock Zonfrillo's wife Lauren has spoken on how their kids are coping.

Masterchef judge Jock Zonfrillo's wife Lauren Fried has posted on Instagram about how she and her kids are coping, following the death of her husband back in May.

Lauren shared a series of images, including ones of her son Alfie and daughter Isla walking along the beach, as well as pictures of her cuddling each of them.

"Time together. Being close, letting them wander," she said about life for them as a family at the moment.

It comes after Lauren recently posted a video message to Jock's Instagram account, thanking fans for their support.

"Hi, it's Loz," she began her first message since Jock's passing.

"It's been a month now since we lost Jock and I put a line in the sand thinking that at the one month mark I would turn some sort of a corner.

"Obviously that hasn't happened and there's no time that I could allocate to say thank you to everyone.

"I just am overwhelmed by the messages that came in from people all over the world, that knew him or didn't know him. I really wish he knew how loved he was and he knew the impact that he had on so many people."

She appeared on his Instagram page to ask his followers for advice on how to best move forward with content Jock had already worked on.

"Jock and I worked really hard on his social media and so I have to try and make a decision whether we keep it going or not," she said.

"He had lots of projects he was working on, a lot that he finished and I just don't know what's appropriate or what you guys want to see on here.

"He's got a lot of behind-the-scenes interviews and photos from MasterChef, he's got books, a fashion range, he's got spirits ageing in a distillery in Tassie, he's got a TV show he filmed in Italy last year with the family."

She said going forward, if she was unsure what was appropriate to share, she would ask his followers with a poll.

"You guys can tell me yes or no and somehow we can work out whether there's a path forward here or if we don't do anything at all. Thanks again and I will manage his channel from now on and I will respond to as much as I can. Thank you."

Jock and Lauren met in 2014 and married on New Year's Day in 2017.

They had recently moved to Italy with their six-year-old son Alfie and two-year-old daughter Isla.

Jock is also survived by daughters Ava and Sophia, from his first two marriages.
