Katie Hopkins isn't impressed by stay at home mums.

“You see the stay-at-home mummies in dreary clothes doing the school run.”

British columnist, Kate Hopkins, has been reported to social services for her nasty and offensive tweets.

The controversial celebrity, who has a tendency of getting on people’s bad side, explains she received a call notifying her that there was a welfare concern for her children over her tweets.

Speaking to Management Today, Hopkins said, “I did have a call the other day from part of social services that they were concerned about the welfare of my child based on my Twitter feed, which someone thought might be damaging them. They said they had to call to follow up.”

Katie Hopkins.

Hopkins has three children aged 10, nine and six and later tweeted about the call, calling the person who reported her a "nutter".

In the same interview, Hopkins also took aim at stay at home mums, claiming they are anti-working women. She also voiced the opinion that maternity leave should be unpaid.

"You see the stay-at-home mummies in dreary clothes doing the school run and then drinking coffee and going back and they can’t abide the working mums," she said.

"And then there is the eco mum with 18 kids and then the mother running the PTA wanting you to make a cake when you just want to give a fiver. They all need to go back to work," Hopkins continued.

Yikes.
