FLUFF: Katy Perry's being sued by a Christian rapper.

Christian rapper Flame is not happy with Katy Perry or her hit track Dark Horse.

Flame, aka Marcus Gray, is seeking legal action against the California Girl claiming that his 2007 song Joyful Noise was copied by Perry’s hit song Dark Horse without his permission.

According to his “producer,” a man known as “Cho’zyn Boy”, musically Dark Horse is “essentially the same” as the Christian “rap song”.

Take a listen:

The rapper and three other artists involved in the song want Ms. Perry to cough up some money for unspecified damages, and ban her using their music immediately.

Dark Horse has sold 6 million copies and been viewed 440 million times on YouTube – so it’s safe to say this little court infrigement won’t break Katy’s bank balance.

In 2013 there was speculation that Perry’s song Roar was a rip-off of the Sara Bareilles’ hit Brave.

Her record label is yet to comment.
