2. ‘Making a human is pretty badass.’ The Bachelor’s Laura Byrne opens up about loving her post-baby body.

The Bachelor’s Laura Byrne, who welcomed her daughter Marlie-Mae Rose Johnson into the world this year, has opened up about why we need to love our post-baby bodies.

In a post shared to Instagram, the former Bachelor star and mother-of-one shared that she has been “cautious” about sharing anything about her post-pregnancy fitness on social media as she didn’t want to “fuel the idea of ‘bouncing back'”.

“Why is it that when we are pregnant we embrace all the changes and celebrate the pregnant body, we are encouraged to do maternity shoots, people fuss over our round bellies and we take bump progress pics… but as soon as the baby is out it’s as though there is this immense pressure to erase every sign that it was ever in there in the first place?” Laura wrote.

I’ve been really cautious about sharing my post-pregnancy fitness, health, experiences on here… partly because I’ve fallen off the bandwagon more times than I can count, but also because I didn’t want to fuel the idea of ‘bouncing back’. Why is it that when we are pregnant we embrace all the changes and celebrate the pregnant body, we are encouraged to do maternity shoots, people fuss over our round bellies and we take bump progress pics… but as soon as the baby is out it’s as though there is this immense pressure to erase every sign that it was ever in there in the first place, a bump is considered beautiful, but stretch marks?! Geez no, you need to cover that up ???????? The reality is, this body will never be the same as my pre-pregnancy body, she’s a little softer, she’s got marks and lines where Marlie once made a home, making a whole human is pretty badass and I’m proud of her for everything she’s been through this last year. It’s taken me six long months to feel ready and motivated enough to get back into exercise…. so here I am back on the bandwagon again. Wish me luck! @fitnessfirstau #fitnessfirstfam

Laura and Matty J, who was The Bachelor in 2017, got engaged while on their ‘babymoon’ in April 2019.

The pair welcomed their daughter into the world in June.

It’s believed the couple are planning to get married in September 2020.

3. There are fresh rumours floating around that Kylie Jenner and Drake are dating and we’re still not convinced.

Oh.

It turns out there are fresh rumours floating around that Kylie Jenner and Drake could be dating.

After months of rumours, eagle-eyed fans have spotted a number of subtle clues that could suggest that the pair are an item.

Last week, Drake shared a photo of himself wearing a Sierra Canyon hoodie, which is where Kylie went to primary school before she began homeschooling.

In the photo, there was a large red kiss mark on his white hat, leading fans to question whether the kiss could have been left by the beauty mogul.

Kylie also shared a photo of her office’s champagne vending machine, which led fans to question whether the post could have been a subtle nod to Drake’s nickname, Champagne Papi.

…Interesting.

Last month, a ~source~ speaking to US Weekly claimed that the pair’s relationship had taken “a romantic turn”.

“At his Halloween party, they were affectionate and clearly there together. They’ve been seeing each other romantically,” the source claimed.

Honestly, we’ll believe it when we see it…

4. “I don’t think it’s necessarily a surprise.” The Bachelor’s Sam Wood shares his thoughts on Matt and Chelsie’s break up.

Hands up if you were surprised when Bachelor 2019 couple Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod broke up. No? Well, neither was fellow series alum Sam Wood.

That’s not because Sam had any goss about the inner workings of their relationship. He just knows all too well that a nationally televised dating program makes for an… erm, interesting starting point.

Sam and his wife Snezana met on season three of the show in 2015 and they now have three children together, including Snezana’s 14-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

“I don’t think it’s necessarily a surprise that most of these relationships don’t work,” he told Now to Love of Matt and Chelsie’s November 17 split. “I just think I was so lucky to meet Snez and we really wanted the same things. We got on brilliantly from pretty much the second we met each other and the more time we spend with each other, the stronger that gets.”

To him, meeting Snez was “meant to be”.

“It’s such a strange circumstance yes, but the perfect time for both of us. We literally laugh about it, how it’s all panned out this way. Our closest friends and family think it’s just ridiculous too.”

The Australian Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise has actually been relatively successful at helping contestants find long-term love. From the 12 seasons, there are six ongoing relationships, including two marriages, another two engagements and three babies. So far.

Maybe Osher is on to something.

Speaking on the TV Blackbox podcast last week, Monaghan shared there was “love at the end” of the upcoming season.

“It’s been a stellar, stellar season of Paradise over in Fiji, we’ve got some really good cast over there, not that I can talk about them in full now,” he said.
