The Spill: Sunday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Oh. MAFS’ Lizzie has opened up about this year’s contestants and called their behaviour “frustrating”.

Married at First Sight repeat-contestant, Elizabeth Sobinoff, has spoken about this year’s MAFS cast and it’s safe to say, she is less than impressed with their behaviour.

Lizzie will be joining the 2020 cast soon and will try to find love for the second time, following her unsuccessful experience last season with Sam Ball.

And in an interview with news.com.au, Sobinoff has compared the contestants from each year, looking quite favourably on the 2019 cast.

“Last year everyone was quite wild and out there but here’s the thing, they were all passionate,” she said.

“The majority of them wanted to be there and at the dinner parties they all wanted to talk about the other relationships and really get into it. I feel like this season, they were all on tippy toes… I feel like people wanted to say more, but they weren’t.”

She then continued to comment on her new co-stars, touching on the rumour-filled media coverage caused by loose-lipped brides and grooms. (Been living under a rock? You can catch up on all the rumours here.)

“It’s disappointing and it’s upsetting and frustrating. I understand if something slips out … because it’s already happened. But the fact that they’re actually going into detail about things, it’s frustrating, totally frustrating,” she added.

We understand, Lizzie.

2. Kylie Jenner might be back together with Travis Scott and, well, this is very important news.

Excuse us.

But Kylie Jenner might be back together with the father of her two-year-old daughter Stormi and we would like to discuss it immediately.

On Friday, the makeup mogul shared throwback images of her with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott at a Houston Rockets NBA game from May of 2017.

The pre-Stormi photos show the now-parents whispering in each other's ears and smiling at each other.

"It’s… a… mood," the three photos on her Instagram stories were captioned.

Fans went into overdrive speculating the couple are back together. It comes after the billionaire recently posted a photo wearing Travis Scott's collaboration with Nike.

"Brb baby," the photo was captioned.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott first met at the Coachella music festival in 2017, shortly after the reality star’s split from previous partner, Tyga.

Ten months later, et voila, their daughter, Stormi, was born.

They announced their breakup in October last year, after two years together.

3. "It was difficult." Katy Perry has spilled all the tea on why she made up with Taylor Swift.

Remember Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's long, long-running feud that spontaneously ended when the two pop stars appeared in Swift's music video for 'You Need to Calm Down' last year?

Well, we've finally got an explanation as to how and why that feud came to an end.

We know that Katy sent Taylor a literal olive branch before her reputation world tour, but it was that peace-offering that softened the pair's hardline stance on each other and led the pair to text.

Eventually, Taylor invited Katy over to her house, where Swift suggested Perry make an appearance in her music video.

In an interview with Stellar magazine, Katy revealed that it was "difficult... but important to make an appearance in the music video."

"We wanted it to be an example of unity. Forgiveness is important. It’s so powerful. If you can forgive your enemy, that’s amazing. As difficult as it is," she said.

Nowadays, the pair "don't have a very close relationship because they are busy," but the 'Firework' singer says they still text a lot.

"I was impressed by her documentary (Netflix’s Miss Americana) because I saw some self-awareness starting to happen and I saw a lot of vulnerability. I was really excited for her to be able to show that to the world: that things aren’t perfect, they don’t have to be and it’s more beautiful when they aren’t."

We're all for this friendship.

4. Uhhh, it seems as if the Lizzie McGuire reboot might be on the rocks and we're not okay about it.

In very upsetting news, it looks like the Lizzie McGuire reboot might not be happening anytime soon.

As much as we'd love to see one of our favourite childhood TV shows return to our screens, filming is very much stalled it seems.

And now Hilary Duff, Lizzie McGuire herself, has taken to Instagram to ask for the reboot series to move to another network because the show's storylines are restricted under Disney.

“Was incredibly excited to launch Lizzie on D+ and my passion remains. However, I feel a huge responsibility to honour the fans’ relationship with LIZZIE who, like me, grew up seeing themselves in her. I’d be doing a disservice to everyone by limiting the realities of a 30 year old’s journey to live under the ceiling of a PG rating," she wrote.

“It’s important to me that just as her experiences as a preteen/teenager navigating life were authentic, her next chapters are equally as real and relatable. It would be a dream if Disney would let us move the show to Hulu, if they were interested, and I could bring this beloved character to life again.”

Duff's comments come after news that the show's creator, Terri Minsky, was removed from her position on the new series.

Minsky and Duff both reportedly want to showcase a more "adult" take on the character.

It looks like we'll have to wait even longer to see a Lizzie and Gordo reunion. This is not what dreams are made of.

5. 'They harass you and threaten you.' Carly Bowyer shares the reality of her experience on MAFS.

After the expiry of a two-year contract preventing her from unveiling the truth, former Married At First Sight contestant Carly Bowyer is sharing the reality of her experience on MAFS in 2018.

The participant of the experiment outlined on her podcast Finding a Unicorn exactly how filming operates and the strategies employed when the cameras don’t capture all the context of a relationship.

“You live with this person 24/7 for eight weeks, so there is so much that happens off-camera – basically everything happens off-camera – and then they have to fill in the gaps,” said Carly, who was fake-married to Justin Fischer on the show.

In fact, she told listeners that’s exactly what happened in the lead up to her exit.

During Carly’s season, it was portrayed that she left Justin because he wouldn’t commit. The truth, she said, was that she walked in on her husband kissing another contestant – a moment that was never made public, because the cameras didn’t get it on film.

“I’ve never been able to speak about that, [I’ve] basically had a gag order put on me that I wasn’t allowed to speak.”

Carly continued: “My husband basically was hooking up with someone else on the show and I walked in on it. I absolutely lost it… I was screaming, I was going mental. The camera crews were chasing me down the hall. I was going psycho.
