In 2003, Thomas Sangster and Olivia Olson starred in Love Actually. Here's what their lives look like.

In December, it’s a Christmas tradition to watch Love Actually

Your heart will break with Emma Thompson after her husband buys his receptionist a necklace, and you will get off the couch to dance along with Hugh Grant.

Tis’ the season, after all.

But as Love Actually comes to an end, 16 years after it was filmed, there is one question on everyone’s mind: What happened to Sam and Joanna?

Relive Sam and Joanna’s performance of ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ below. Post continues after video.

Sam – Thomas Sangster

Thomas Sangster, who played the innocent romantic Sam in Love Actually, is a very successful actor, having featured as Jojen Reed in Games of Thrones and Newt in The Maze Runner.

He’s also the complete definition of a GLOW UP.

Would you look at that jaw line?

The 29-year-old was also the voice of Ferb Fletcher in Phineas and Ferb from 2007 to 2015. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thomas most recently appeared in the third The Maze Runner movie, which was released last year.

Joanna – Olivia Olson

Olivia Olson, who played Sam’s crush Joanna, is equally as successful.

Just like Thomas, she also featured in Phineas and Ferb as the voice of Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, but her main career focus has unsurprisingly been her kick ass vocals.

The 27-year-old’s album, Nowhere Land, was released in June last year. You can listen to the very vibe-y album on Spotify.

Olivia also appeared on UK’s The X Factor: Celebrity in October this year but was sent home in an emotional elimination during the live shows.

She later posted on Instagram explaining her reaction and said she was thankful for the opportunity to appear on the show.

“I was confused why Simon would tell me I could win this competition and then ultimately send me home. It was a punch in the gut. People have emotions and mine got the best of me… because I REALLY wanted this. I’m proud of my performance last night and that’s what matters to me,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

It’s all very wholesome, but to be honest, we’re still sad about Emma Thompson.
