1. The text messages between Kesha and Lady Gaga, where they refer to Katy Perry as “mean”.

This week, text messages between American singers Kesha and Lady Gaga went public thanks to Kesha’s four-year legal battle with her boss and music producer Dr. Luke.

Billboard reports the text messages were released after the A Star is Born actress was subpoenaed by Dr. Luke, who is accused of sexually harassing and assaulting Kesha over a number of years.

The singers’ exchanges in 2016 went into detail about how they believed fellow singer Katy Perry was also sexually assaulted by Dr. Luke, but was refusing to come forward.

“She could bring the whole thing to a head but she won’t,” Kesha wrote to Gaga.

“She is probably really afraid to lose everything,” Gaga responded to Kesha. “U are really strong standing up to him, she’s not as strong as you yet.”

The messages also described Perry as “mean”, and discussed how they should try to find “sympathy and empathy for her.”

Both Gaga and Perry have addressed the text messages on Twitter, saying they no longer have anything to do with their friendship.

“@katyperry & I have grown up in the industry together,” Gaga tweeted. “We’ve gone through both celebrations & differences w/ each other. These are old texts. We’ve matured, gotten over the past, love each other & share deep respect. Katy is my friend and is truly a kind soul. End of story.”

Perry responded to Gaga’s tweet, writing, “Love you too friend … Onward and upward.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are heading into their first Christmas since falling pregnant earlier this year. This will mean lots of dinners and events, as well as fielding many questions about Meghan's upcoming birth.

Traditionally, royal babies have been born in the exclusive Lindo Wing at London’s St. Mary’s Hospital.

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has delivered all three of her children there, posing for the iconic Lindo Wing steps photos just days after giving birth.

But according to sources, we might not see a similar photo from The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Sources have told Vanity Fair Meghan wants a different experience, and that the couple have been looking at “options".

These options could include giving birth in a hospital closer to Windsor, where Harry and Meghan will be living ahead of the birth next year, or even a home birth.

And... that's all we know so far. Stay tuned.

3. The strange feud between JLo and Mariah Carey, and what Mariah has to say about it.

Long before Taylor Swift versus Katy Perry, Mariah Carey broke the early 2000s internet by starting a feud with Jennifer Lopez.

To jog your memory, the singer went viral when a reporter asked her what she thought about JLo.

"I don't know her," she replied. Her response has since been immortalised in GIF and meme form.

This week, Carey defended her response in an interview with Pitchfork, saying she never meant to throw shade at Lopez.

“I really was trying to say something nice or say nothing at all,” she said.

Rather, it seems Carey meant to say "I don't know JLo personally" instead of how it came across, which was "I don't know who this JLo person is".

Ah. Everything now makes perfect sense.

Um.

Megan Fox had a boyfriend 10 years ago.

And she tricked all of us because precisely nobody was informed about this.

Making an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, the actress played a game called “Plead the Fifth”. She was asked whether she truly had a romance with Shia LaBeouf when the pair were filming Transformers a decade ago and yes. It appears they did.

“I mean I would confirm that it was romantic,” Fox said.

“I love him. I’ve never been really quiet about that. I love him.”

She admitted that it was an on-set romance that fizzled after the movie was finished being filmed.

Megan Fox is now married to Brian Green.

Now that's some foxy news.
