Stop what you're doing immediately because the Met Gala is upon us; a night where A-listers, models and designers scale the steps of New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art to well and truly out-serve each other.

This year's costume exhibition theme is "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," focusing on menswear and "the indelible style of Black dandies", per Vogue.

Some of the best-dressed men in music, sport and film are hosting the gala, with Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Lewis Hamilton serving as co-chairs alongside Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and honorary chair LeBron James.

The dress code for the evening is "Tailored for You", a nod to the menswear vibe that's inspiring some, er, creative interpretations of suiting and tailoring.
