What was your first impression of both sex toys? (Just by looking at them.)

My ilo is pretty renowned for how sleek its toys are and I definitely wasn't disappointed by the colourway or quality of both my Egg and Duo toys.

While The Egg is a flexible, baby orange, palm-sized vibrator made out of medical-grade silicone, The Duo – while made out of the same material – is mint-coloured and is designed with a handle to hold over the clitoris for ✨targeted✨  pleasure and stimulation. 

Just by looking at them, I'm really pleased with the look, feel and colour. I was even showing them off to a friend who wanted one for herself (but I don't like to share – sorry!). Overall, they are chic, discreet and look cute on a nightstand.

How much are the sex toys? And do you think they are worth it?

My ilo Duo is $169. Out of the two, it was the clear winner for me. It had a strong vibration with intense air-sucking technology and 10 vibration patterns. Even just the fit felt a lot more 'natural' to me – as in, there was no awkward maneuvering to get used to. Also for a clitoral massager, the price feels really affordable. It is small but holy s**t is it powerful.

My ilo Egg is $144. It felt a little... basic... considering how expensive it is. While I did appreciate the orgasm, it took twice as long to reach a satisfying climax.

What was it like using the sex toy? And how did it really feel?

When using the My ilo Duo, I was quite struck by how intense the vibration patterns are. For me, it mimics the feeling of oral sex and in all honesty, it's come in real handy lately. It's also smaller than I'd expect for a handheld device – I don't have a clitoral massager that is smaller than this one!

I didn't feel the same intense climax when using the My ilo Egg but it still was a pretty lovely orgasm.

I'm not someone who leans into using bullet vibrators as I've just never enjoyed the maneuvering and the Egg sort of negates that. It's a perfectly lovely feeling and I think this could be a really wonderful gift for someone new to the world of sex toys. If I'd had this a few years ago, I think my mind would have blown! However, I'm a little older and a tiny bit more experienced so it doesn't have the same impact. 

My ilo – as beautiful as they are – are incredibly loud. As someone with housemates, I did get lightly teased after I was done using them. Because my friends could hear it roaring while I was showering! So my advice is, if you want to be left alone, play a Christmas movie loudly to throw your mates off the scent...

I'd give the My ilo Duo a solid 9/10. It's pretty intense and it's pretty freaking beautiful. Quite frankly, I'm proud to own it... 

My ilo Egg is cute and I love it but it's a little too simple for my liking and so for that, it gets a 7/10.
