There's a bun in the oven for this former My Kitchen Rules couple.

This culinary duo have some exciting news to share.

They were newlyweds when they appeared on My Kitchen Rules, but now the cheese making couple, Annie and Jason Chesworth have some exciting news to share. They have a baby on the way.

The NSW based couple have been trying for almost two years to fall pregnant and they couldn’t be happier that they now have a bun in the oven.

Annie and Jason.

The pair told Woman’s Day that Annie is now 3-months pregnant. “It's great news because she was getting a bit depressed and a little nervy after the first 12 months of trying,” Jason said.

The first time parents said they were considering surrogacy or adoption if their journey towards pregnancy took any longer. But after a pregnancy test showed that Annie was in fact pregnant, Jason rushed to buy two more kits, just in case. It has now been revealed that Annie’s due date is the 14th of March 2015.

The culinary duo first met at University in Wagga Wagga back in 2008 and later moved to the Hunter Valley in 2011. They married 18 months later and are the co-owners of a cheese factory.

They entered My Kitchen Rules and made it to the top 11.

Congratulations Annie and Jason!
