"It's as luxe as everyone says it is": 16 beauty products we're loving sick this month.

For more beauty roundups, head to our hub page here.

You know what time it is... the monthly beauty roundup is back, and just in time for spring!

In August, the Mamamia team tried and tested plenty of new (and new to us) skincare, makeup, haircare and body care products that are getting us prepped and primed for the warmer months ahead.

Here you’ll find reviews of the best beauty products that launched in August, as well as the old favourites we’ve rediscovered and fallen back in love with.

Before we get into it, watch our beauty editor try lube (yes, lube) as primer. Why? Because TikTok said so. Post continues below.

Maybelline Lasting Fix Setting Spray, $16.49.

"This is the only setting spray I've ever used that keeps my makeup on my nose - it's also one of the cheapest on the market! My makeup lasts all day and night with it." - Carla Woodhouse, Content Executive, Squad.

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil, $39.

"After numerous recommendations from literally everyone at Mamamia, I treated myself to the L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil. It's as luxe as everyone says it is! It smells incredible, and leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated." - Melody Teh, Editor.

Fancy Lash Eyelash Extensions, from $130.

"After getting eyelash extensions for a recent holiday, I remembered just how much I love them - they make you look put together without actually doing... anything. I get a classic set from Fancy Lash in Sydney which adds volume and length but still looks super natural. I can't recommend them enough for low maintenance girls." - Charlotte Begg, Lifestyle Writer.

Biologi Bc Refresh Cleanser, $26.

"I've been using this cleanser and my skin has responded so well! It's also Australian made and cruelty free which is a great bonus." - Lisa Panetta, Partner Integration Executive.

Esmio Australia Basic Starter Kit, $165.

"This at home gel nail polish kit is amazing. I spend so much money on getting my nails done, so I finally invested in something that could help me when I want a nail refresh but have no time to go get them done. They also sell a gel removal polish which is an absolute lifesaver." - Lisa Panetta, Partner Integration Executive.

Who Is Elijah 'Muse' Eau de Parfum 50ml, $115.

"This Australian perfume brand is known for its unique unisex scents that are just, in a nutshell, really sexy. I trialled a smaller vial of this fragrance for weeks and received so many compliments on how I smelled that I knew I needed to graduate to the larger size. It's a gorgeous floral with jasmine and amber in the mix, two of my favourite notes, but feels warm and light enough for a daytime signature scent." - Tamara Holland, Head of Lifestyle.

James Cosmetics 24K Gold Hydra² Hydration Mask, $75.

"I'm a basic beauty amateur, but I live for a good hydrating face mask. Leigh Campbell has pointed me to this stunning one and I'm obsessed. It feels amazing while on and afterwards I'm all dewy (and smug). Added bonus: I can use outdated Austin Powers in Goldmember quotes while wearing." - Yvette Bay, People & Culture Manager.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, $49.

"If I'm wearing a full face of makeup, this makes it apply and look so much better, and gives it staying power. My skin usually drinks my makeup after a couple of hours but with this it lasts all day." - Talia Phillips, Strategy Manager.

Espressoh Ohily - Oil To Milk Cleanser, $49.

"I ran out of my normal oil cleanser and picked this one up. Love that it emulsifies into a smoother milk cleanser. Takes everything off, even tubing mascara, without making me feel squeaky and dry. Plus, the bottle is pretty." - Susannah Makin, The Skin Summit Event Producer.

Dr Naomi Over Achiever Cream-to-Water Moisturiser, $109.

"I've been looking for a new day cream for who knows how long - as I'm oily, it needs to be hydrating but not too thick, greasy or dewy. This gem from Dr Naomi doesn't do any of that - it's light, hydrating and keeps my oil at bay. My skin slurps it right up." - Charlotte Begg, Lifestyle Writer.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream with Squalane, $52.

"Late to the game, but this is some solid hydrating goodness. I feel so fancy and indulgent slurping this stuff onto my face each night. It's like the everyman's La Mer and I love it." - Katie Stow, Evening Editor.

Naked Sundays SPF50 Glow + Go Hydrating Lip Oil, $29.95.

"I have avoided lip oils because I thought they looked like lip gloss on, but recently I got my hands on this Naked Sundays one and I'm annoyed at myself that I've been sleeping on them for so long. It's basically a super nourishing lip balm that doesn't go on shiny, plus it's SPF 50." - Emmeline Peterson, Podcast Producer.

MECCA MAX Pout Pop Lipstick, $20.

"Loving this Mecca lipstick! It’s a nice almost-nude on me, the texture is great and it doesn't bleed or get flakey like a lot of cheaper lipsticks do. I really like wearing it." - Talissa Bazaz, Executive Producer.

Imbibe Collagen Eyes, $85.

"I’ve been using this eye cream that’s bloody wonderful! It absorbs so nicely and is thick but isn't heavy/greasy (like a lot of other eye creams I've used) so it's perfect for morning and night application." - Gia Moylan, Executive Podcast Producer.
