As a ‘early starter’ April born kid myself, I wish my parents had known it was an option to send the year after. It wouldn’t have been so socially difficult for the majority of my schooling that’s for sure!
Holme beauty primer is the only one I’ll ever use! Thanks for sharing Holme on You beauty.
I’m going to miss you Mia, I’ve loved listening to your insightful and entertaining conversations. Thanks for everything and all the best to Kate and the No filter team!
This is a great idea. I try to have solo time and it’s always in short bursts with my three, I wish for more time with each of them and this gives me hope. Thank you for sharing!
This is my biggest fear that I’m having right now. Part time raising three young kids and a partner living away for work. Already having to take time to care when only part time, I’m sure a lot of colleagues feel this way towards me but at the end of the day, there is literally no choice I can make otherwise. No other family to call on locally. I’d love to work more but right now my kids need me more. The guilt is never ending.
@rush I couldn’t agree more. Fully informed, fully consenting. Rest in peace finally.
I love this article and we need more twin parent voices out there too. It’s also a different level of chaos when twins are involved… I have 4yo boy twins (and 21 mo) and they work together to cause havoc right before leaving for work and school. I’m so glad you’ve said the unspoken about how people in the workplace see mothers who aren’t always enthusiastically going about their work. It’s not because we don’t care and the bar for what’s expected needs to shift.
Wait until you finish Jury Duty, it’s amazing and answers all your questions 🥰🎉
‘As a mother’ I’m so happy for you all and it sounded like such a roller coaster of a perfect day 🎉
Clare, you’ve moved me so greatly with your first episode. Lumps in my throat as you’re talking about the comparison and feelings of inadequacy. I’m a mum of mcda twins and also a teacher and I have tried so hard not to compare them as people. They are so unique and amazing in their own right and that’s you too. I’m in absolute awe of how much you’ve done (same age here) and how many achievements you have! Thank you for sharing your feelings and experiences, it’s definitely helping me be a better mum for my boys and help the people around them see how unique and successful they will be in their own right.
So beautiful, what a lovely day and stunning photos! Thank you for sharing. You all look so happy, it’s lovely ♥️
Haha great lessons! I desperately wanted to elope for most of the reasons you said… my husband did not. So we compromised and had a breakfast wedding! Sunrise instead of sunset with photos literally next to the reception. 16 wks pregnant and waffles… the greatest thing ever 😂
This is such a funny and fantastic summary of the key points of the book. No need to read Spare, Clare has it covered.
This is great info, best thing I’ve done after my three kids was see a physio and do the exercises properly!
@tramngo86 I did to my supervisor… I’ve only been working with them for two months 🙈😭 felt so much better afterwards though!
I could really relate to this! Thanks lovely ladies for sharing your stories 🥰
