I would say that post natal depression is a lot lower in Asian countries as they get much more support

I only did 4 months of reception at a time when they would do that. I was always the youngest in class and there is always a pecking order with kids. In high school I would get teased because I was late to develop and being the youngest didnt help.either. I would wait until they are 5.

I had my bubs at home in the shower too. Hubby caught him like a football.  My midwife came 45 mins after he was born as it all happened very quick. A couple of hours later I was fast asleep exhausted in my own bed. Lol

From ftom I've heard favouring the boy is common in many cultures eg Greeks and Indians. Not saying I agree with it tho
