I married a man who was 'dedicated' in this way to his clients. He's now my ex. 

My daughter is nearly 4 and this took my right back to the night she arrived,  to the long labour and urgent vacuum delivery,  the silent baby whisked away, the shock and numbness, the beautiful early morning cuddles, her little feet, the primal need to protect her while stumbling around having been hit by a truck... what an incredible piece.
