Thank you for this article . I married a proud indigenous man 5 months ago. We were embraced by our community and his mob.. truly feel so blessed . The stories he shared with me, make me cry , yet he is the proudest , most compassionate and kindest man I have ever met . We do not celebrate Australia Day .. an inclusive date is needed. I have two grandfathers who went to war to fight for the freedoms we now live . I honour them and I feel deeply saddened by the many, many injustices indigenous people suffer . My husband now experiences reverse racism when he drives  my car ! ( A dated Mercedes)
