I think the sad truth is that most men still, not so deep down, see themselves as the victims of society. Women's deaths don't even register as a thing to them. 

As a woman in her mid-40's, I have to agree. It's the worst. You think periods are tough, wait until period's meaner, angrier and totally psychopathic relative peri-menopause comes to stay. I'm DREAMING of the good old days of PMS.  Materialistically I have everything, mentally I have nothing. 

It's so wrong that the woman has to flee with the kids, and have nothing, while the perpetrator gets to stay in the house. 

My experience with Family Courts, Child Support, Australlian Passport Office, ATO etc is that EVERYTHING is contingent on the man being fair and upfront. If this isn't the case, then as a woman you are screwed. Institutional gender discrimination is very much real and alive in Australia. 

I was at Coles last year and a father with two young girls were in the trolley next to me. The sisters must have been aged 4 and 2, and they were sitting there very nicely, chatting and giggling to eachother. As a mum of loud boys, the girls didn't even register to me. The father turns to his kids and says "be quite or I'll shoot you". They complied. He was kiddng but I was utterly shocked. If girls are raised on threats of violence from their own father, what hope do they have in relationships? 

Very conflicted on this. Buy your toddler a whole peice of fruit and get them used to eating whole foods - not these revolting, processed foods. Make your own purees and put them in pouches if necessary (as a single mum that's what I did in the early years sometimes). A mashed banana with a dash of cinnamon is much cheaper than a Rafferty's Garden thing.  Nutrition isn't found in any of this gunk and perhaps we need this wake-up call. 

I work in the school system and this doesn't surprise me at all. Disciple is now seen as a dirty word, let alone put into practise. There are absolutely zero consequences for children. Not expecting corporal punshiment, but I've seen kids get kicked and punched and the perpetrator doesn't so much as get 5 minutes time-out. The ADHD kids are allowed to rule the school 

I think your'e being far too kind, The people who do these kinds of posts are usually also internet trolls who write horrible stuff on subjects they know very little about. 

This is so great. As a solo by choice mother as well, I can only imagine how good it would have been to be around other woman who totally get it! 

I'm sorry but normalising injectables in 22 year olds  is utterly negligent both physicaly and mentally. This "you do you" attitude of 'empowerment' is anything but. 

@spotanon Completey agree. Why on earth as women have we succumbed to these awful expectations to the extent they they are all considered normal? Of course I believe in individual choice, but as a collective, can't we all protest and bankrupt this business that at the end of the day does awful things to a women's mental health, not to mention actually gives men more power over us because they 'expect' that women look a certain way.

I'm also dating a man that in't on social media and it's FABULOUS. No automatically reaching for the phone, he gives me his full attention at all times, and there's certainly no scrolling while in bed. It's made me heavily reduce my own phone time around him, and the difference is incredible. It's much much easier to feel secure and always conected without a screen getting in the way. 

I find that if I want to compare products, I cut/paste their list of ingredients  into ChatGPT. It will then tell you the similarities and differences of the order of ingrediants, and what each ingrediant is used for. 

Women are cotinually terrorised by men. The contined, horrific numbers speak for themselves. Yet somehow these are not terrorist attacks.  It beggars belief. Imagine if a man walked into a workplace and killed a co -worker every week in Australia - it would be a national emergency. Yet men killing women they know is utterly acceptable, apparently. 

Men killing and all the men rioting for no reason at all. When will men get as sick of this as women are? 

My male partner is going down this path as well. He's highly educated, and not someone who you would think is easily led. I think it's the lack of control that white men are feeling. He talks about 'reverse racism' and 'being a white man is the worst thing you can now be'.  White men are feeling targetted, whether this is true or not, it's their perception. So they are clinging to men like Joe Rogan as a lifeboat. It's not helping women's rights at all, or any minoirty group, really.
