She’s the ultimate funny girl but her latest ad may have gone too far.
Actress Rebel Wilson, 35, is known for her wicked sense of humour. But her latest ad for digital television streaming service, Stan, may have just taken things too far.
The ad was designed to promote the service’s new collection of romance flicks, provocative films and world movies.
It begins with a director instructing Wilson what she needs to do while on set. “This one, I need you to show how sexy Stan can be,” he instructs.
To which Wilson questions, “Can’t I just say me and my big pussy love it?”
While viewers are led to believe Wilson is talking about her nether regions, the camera quickly pans to a cat sitting on her lap.
"Is that your pussy I'm smelling?" the director asks before the ad concludes.
Yes it's a pun.
Yes it's funny.
But it's an ad that has been airing during prime time television, when children are likely to be watching.

While it can be assumed that the hidden joke in the ad would go straight over a child's head, it doesn't make it any less crude.
