1. Married at First Sight’s Sam has shared his thoughts on bride Elizabeth’s hair extensions.

As if we needed another reason to very strongly dislike MAFS contestant Sam Ball, he’s just gone and criticised his fake wife in public – again.

Jeez, mate. That is NOT the right way to go about gaining Insta followers. Sorry, we mean “finding love” on national television.

As it stands, he’s already said his bit about her very normal-sized body being “bigger than what he’s used to”, but now he’s decided to move on to her hair.

Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O show this morning, he claimed he “didn’t want to get too close” to her extensions, adding that there is a “netting issue there”. Whatever that means.

“I got a close look, I think there’s a netting issue there, there’s something going on. I didn’t ask any questions, but obviously there’s the extensions and stuff like that… it’s a different look,” he saod/

Righto.

He was quick to add that it “wasn’t his intention” to enter the show and criticise her entire face/body/head.

“I didn’t really go into [the show] to start picking her apart with her physical attributes.”

Then why… are you?

And can you… not?

2. The incident that got Kyle Sandilands blacklisted from Hollywood for 10 years.

Kyle Sandilands clearly takes standing up for his co-host Jackie O Henderson very seriously.

To the point where, in 2013, he apparently threatened to “bash Will Ferrell’s publicity team to death”, resulting in him being blacklisted by the Hollywood PR heavyweights.

Yikes.

The shock jock recalled the dramatic incident on air this morning, revealing one of Ferrell’s publicist’s had made Jackie cry for saying his name incorrectly – with the emphasis on the wrong part of his surname.

When he saw how upset the publicist had made his co-host, Sandilands admits he flew off the handle.

“She started to cry and then I went out there and threatened to bash everyone to death,” he said.

“And then they [security] threw them out,” he claimed. “Then they all panicked and banned us from talking to all these celebrities for about 10 years.”

Jackie agreed: “Yep, we really got punished for that one.”

“Long story short, the guy made Jackie cry,” Kyle added. “He thought he was some big, powerful publicist from America and that he could speak to Jackie like a dog.

“Well he soon realised he was in the wrong place… he was very nervous.”

Erm, remind us to never get on Kyle’s bad side.

3. Prince Harry’s “granny” Helen Mirren just gushed over Meghan Markle.

Ever since Dame Helen Mirren starred as Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen in 2006, Prince Harry has jokingly nicknamed the actress “granny”.

And now, Prince Harry’s “granny” has shared her thoughts on Meghan Markle.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Mirren took the opportunity to praise the Duchess of Sussex.

"I think right from the moment that relationship was revealed, she conducted herself with incredible self-restraint, elegance, discipline and simplicity and humanity," the actress said.

"I was an admirer... it's an incredibly difficult life to lead, talk about pressure," she added.

"I think she is doing it with great elegance."

We definitely think so too.

4. Why Serena Williams wants women to make the first move “in work, in love, in life”.

Tennis champion Serena Williams has teamed up with dating app Bumble to deliver the ultimate feminist dating advice.

In the commercial which aired during the Super Bowl, Serena encouraged women to call the shots in all aspects of life.

"The world tells you to wait, that waiting is polite and good things will just come," she said.

"But if I waited to be invited in, I never would have stood out. If I waited for change to happen, I never would have made a difference," she continued.

"So make the first move, don't wait to be told your place, take it. Don't wait for people to find you, find them. In work, in love, in life."

If you're wondering how Serena's message ties in with a dating app, Bumble allows women to message first, meaning men cannot message a woman unless she messages him first.

The company's policy echos Serena's advice to call the shots.
