Sofia Vergara has been keeping the craziest part of her wedding a secret.

What could go wrong with having a wedding that lasts for three days?

Well, your guests could start dropping from exhaustion, for one thing.

This is the exact predicament Sofia Vergara and new husband Joe Manganiello faced last year when they decided to have a festival wedding lasting three days.

So what did they do to keep the party going and the guests continuously ready to party?

IV drips of course.

Because how else to you keep your guests hydrated other than hook ’em up on a drop mid-party to keep the alcohol flowing?

Modern Family star Julie Bowen told Ellen this week that the wedding was quite the celebration, but everyone lived to tell the tale due to that one secret weapon.

“It was crazy,” she told the day-time television host.

“You had to hydrate. I was good, I took breaks and watched Straight Outta Compton. But if you didn’t, they had a little ambulance truck with and IV station where you could get IV hydration.”

Understandably, Ellen was a tad confused.

“What are you talking about? Like literally a needle goes in your arm and they give you hydration? That’s how much people were drinking?”

Bowen went on to admit that when she initially saw the truck, she thought something serious was going down.

“Yes! I thought somebody had a heart attack or there was an event because there was a first aid truck set up outside of the pool area where all the bungalows are. And there are people sipping espresso getting IV re-hyrdration.

“Apparently there’s nothing you can do in three days that can’t be undone by some IV re-hydration.”

Money can’t buy you happiness, but in this case, it bought Sofia Vergara’s guests a whole lot of re-hydration…
