Sophie Turner's new tattoo definitely gives away the ending to Game of Thrones.

Last week Sophie Turner, who plays the fierce Sansa Stark on the HBO series Game of Thrones, got a very suspicious tattoo during her time in Sydney with fiancee Joe Jonas, who was a judge on The Voice Australia.

The tattoo, which was done by Australian tattoo artist Lauren Winzer, shows the House of Stark dire wolf with the words “The pack survives” and naturally, fans are freaking out.

For those of who aren’t familiar with the hit TV series, the text comes from the end of a well-known quote from season one of Game of Thrones, when Sansa’s father Ned Stark says,  “When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.”

The quote was also suspiciously repeated in the trailer for season seven.

Since Turner has only chosen to include the last part of this quote in her new tattoo, fans are reading it as a massive spoiler for the show’s highly anticipated finale.

The end of Game of Thrones isn’t set to air until 2019, but of course Sophie Turner would already know the fate of her character. Fans are now reading the actresses’ tattoo as her way of letting fans know that the remaining members of the Stark family, Sansa, Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams) and Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) aren’t killed off at the end of the series.

Here are a few theories that may explain this important development.:

  1. This tattoo could be symbolic of her character’s family, and her deep connection to the show. Just a nice way to remember the series.
  2. HBO has paid the actress to get this tattoo to create the false hype that we are contributing to by writing this article, so that when the entire family is killed at the end of the season, we are surprised and/or broken forever.
  3. Most probably, this tattoo means that Sophie Turner LOVES her fans and is giving us this spoiler as gift.

All the the evidence is pointing towards number three, but I guess we’ll have to wait until next year to find out for sure.
