'Less than supportive'. All the Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas divorce rumours in one place.

Like clockwork, the coverage around Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' divorce has escalated.

And of course, the Game of Thrones actor is the one facing the blamed for the demise of their four-year marriage.

But let's backtrack for a second.

After a week of speculation and the merciless stalking of Joe's fourth finger on his left hand, the couple finally confirmed they were ending their marriage.

Joe officially filed for divorce from his wife, 27-year-old Sophie, on Tuesday, citing the marriage was "irretrievably broken".

In true Hollywood celeb style, they posted a coordinated statement on their respective Instagram accounts.

Though the split was described as "amicable" and a "united decision", a number of reports have surfaced in the past 24 hours that spin a vastly different story, seeking to vilify Sophie as a bad wife and mother to their two daughters.

And... we called it.

Here are some of the stories doing the rounds that have broken since the divorce rumours began.

Joe Jonas 'pressured' Sophie Turner to attend events after she struggled post-birth.

After days of constant negative stories about her being published, Sophie's PR seemed to relent on Thursday, when the first 'sources' on her side went into bat in a scathing TMZ report.

Several sources told the published Joe was "less than supportive" following the birth of their second child in July 2022.

Sophie had reportedly wanted to stay home in the months afterwards, but attended several events with Joe. The sources said that at one particular event they attended together Sophie made it clear to everyone she did not want to be there.

They don't say which event, but Sophie's first public appearance after giving birth was at the Toronto premiere for Joe's movie Devotion in August 2022.

After that, TMZ said there was another which Joe attended alone. The sources said Joe complained to others there about Sophie not being present.

Of course, this is just speculation, but she was not at Devotion's LA premiere in November.

Sophie Turner was caught on camera doing, err... something.

Multiple sources told TMZ that "Joe had access to a ring cam that he said captured Sophie saying and/or doing something that made him realise the marriage was over".

If you're wondering what a 'ring cam' is (aka me, two minutes ago), it's just a home security camera which is commonly attached to a doorbell.

The vagueness of this claim leaves the mind to wander over what Sophie could have been doing. Was she cheating? Was she doing drugs? Was she being an irresponsible parent?

Was she recreating the final episode of Game of Thrones so fans could get justice?

This claim is unclear, open-ended and ripe for speculation — and that's the point.

Sophie Turner is a wild party girl who felt 'trapped' by marriage.

The split has also been attributed to the celebrities' apparent clashing lifestyles. "She likes to party, he likes to stay at home," another TMZ source claimed.

Next came a report from Page Six, entitled, 'Sophie Turner spotted downing shots at bar days before Joe Jonas filed for divorce.' The article claimed that in the days before the marriage was officially called off, Sophie went for a "wild night out" in Birmingham, England.

The actor apparently partied at arcade bar Dropshot Digbeth, with the manager sharing a photo snapped with Turner.

“Just me and my new mate @sophiet out for a few bevvies – Soph stopped by my spot to test out my punch machine,” Hezron Stephenson captioned his post.

Page Six wrote that Turner was "wearing a low-cut blue floral minidress", and was spotted "gulping down drinks at the party venue".

Sophie is believed to have been attending a wrap party for her upcoming show, Joan, which she has been filming in the UK over the past few months.

As these photos went up online from Sophie's time in the UK, Page Six shared photographs of Joe taking his two daughters to breakfast in California.

Another report in the Daily Mail had a 'friend' of Sophie's claiming that she felt "trapped" in her marriage.

“Since the kids came along, she’s feeling trapped. She’s the only person in her tight friendship group who is married with two children,” the source said.

“She became famous at a very young age, then married and had kids at a young age and never really had the teenage years of sleeping around and just having carefree fun with friends."

Joe Jonas tried to save their marriage.

While Sophie is being portrayed as some desperate party mum trying to reclaim her lost youth, Joe is being painted as Father of the Year.

“Divorce was a last resort for Joe," a source told Page Six. "He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his girls."

Page Six reported that Joe was doing everything possible to salvage the marriage, but "an unhappy home isn’t a home", and the couple had “many disagreements" that led to the divorce.

“Joe finally reached a point where he felt that he had exhausted all options to salvage the marriage."

These claims follow reports that the couple's children — two daughters, three and one — had been staying with Joe in recent months.

In the court documents for the divorce filing, Jonas stated his daughters had been residing primarily with him in Miami, along with “other locations throughout the United States”, which suggests they had been following him on his US tour with the Jonas Brothers.

A father fathering his kids? Let's have a parade.

The inconsistencies in these stories.

Most of the early reports about the couple's children being cared for by their dad in recent months neglected to mention that Sophie had been filming a TV series in the UK since May.

Turner will play the lead in upcoming British drama Joan, which tells the real-life story of 1980s diamond thief Joan Hannington.

It's also worth mentioning that, if the shoe was on the other foot – if Sophie was caring for her two children in the US while Joe toured the UK – no one would blink an eye.

But that's misogyny and mum-shaming for you.

Now on to the claims Sophie is a wild child at heart while Joe wants to settle down. A 2020 interview with Conan O'Brien has awkwardly contradicted this dynamic.

When speaking about how she and Joe had handled lockdown, Sophie said, "Joe's a real social butterfly so I struggle to lock him down and have him just spend time with me. It's like prison for him, but it's great for me."

Sophie admitted that she preferred staying home to going out. "I’m an introvert. I’m a homebody... If I could stay home all day, I would, so this is great for me," she said.

“I leave the house, like, once a day anyway, to walk my dogs, and then that’s it."

The X-Men star also suggested that it was Joe who was the bigger drinker of the two. “I pour him his drinks, I pour him his alcohol,” she said. “I give him tequila shots. He’ll, like, text me and be like: ‘What time is it?’ and I’ll reply from the kitchen: ‘Shot time.’ And bring him a shot of tequila.”

Another resurfaced interview that's complicating the narrative is one from 2022 during which the actor admitted she was feeling homesick since uprooting her life to relocate to Joe's home country.

"I really love living in America but, for my mental health, I have to be around my friends and my family. And also for my daughter — I would love her to get the education and school life that I was so lucky to have," she told Elle UK, prior to the birth of her second child.

"England would ideally be the final destination, but [Joe] might take quite a bit of convincing!"
