For Tamara Ecclestone, the 34-year-old heiress daughter of Formula One chief executive Bernie Ecclestone, money is not an object.
In the past the mother has been slammed for ‘spoiling’ her four-year-old daughter Fifi, perhaps stemming from the extravagant $100,000 first birthday party that was held for the tiny heiress. Or, going back even further, the at least five different prams Fifi was seen in as a baby, valued at $10,000.
With a giant balloon castle, a petting zoo and a zebra, no detail was overlooked. (Too bad she doesn’t remember it.)
Now Ecclestone in hot water once more after buying her daughter, who is often lauded as the most pampered child in the world, another puppy.
Posting a photo of her daughter holding the puppy to Instagram three days ago, the heiress captioned the image “Now the cats out bag or actually the pups out the bag and we broke the news to @jayrutland meet our new addition Fluffy.”

I keep thinking of all the children who don't even have rock bottom basics. If I were her mother, I think I'd instill in her a bit of reality and compassion for those not as fortunate. Four isn't too young to learn a bit of that. And what if Fifi doesn't find a husband who will support her in the life to which she has become accustomed? Perish the thought!
I have been following Tamara for quite a few years now, in news articles and social media and I'm sure all the above is true but she is also a extremely hands on mum, I think she still breast feeding Sophia, is an fierce advocate for breastfeeding and it not having Sophia brought up by Nannies, she is always with her, like any Mum should be so I cant help but feel that this article is a little one sided and uneducated. There are far worse Mothers out there... Im sure that most of us given that amount of money would over indulge our children a little.
That’s the thing, isn’t it. She can afford it. If she was spoiling her child and going into debt to live some fantasy lifestyle, I think it would be an issue, but this is just how many seriously wealthy people live.
