The Block 2022 has been a whirlwind journey and while the judges haven't been shy on dishing out perfect 10s, they definitely haven't gone easy on the Blockheads either.

This week was another gruelling challenge after Scott Cam revealed it was time to undo some previous mistakes.

Yup. It's redo room week (plus another guest bedroom, just to make The Block even tougher).

Without further ado, here are all the photos from this week's redo rooms and guest bedrooms.

Tom and Sarah-Jane.

Money spent: $12,589.

The judges have been astonished by House One's rooms week after week, and this time was no different. Upon seeing the couple's guest bedroom, they were instantly impressed with the return of the gingham wallpaper.

"If it works for one bedroom then it works for another," Darren noted. "I actually quite like it."

Neale feels that Tom and Sarah-Jane have the most consistent house on The Block, saying: "It makes an impact just through this clever choice of fabric and colours and textures. Who would have thought that rattan bedhead would work against that plaid wallpaper."

He added the pair should go into designing hotel rooms after The Block wraps up, saying: "These rooms are colour-coded just like you'd have in a hotel."

Moving on to the pair's redo room (which was their living area), Shaynna was instantly impressed.

"It just makes me smile," she said, later adding: "There are little stories that are being told in every room... Everything Tom and Sarah-Jane have done feels authentic."

Rachel and Ryan.

Money spent: $11,675.

Next up is House Two. Instantly, the judges felt invited when entering their guest bedroom. However, they felt the shelves were the wrong choice.

Darren felt everything that wasn't right with their previous guest bedroom was spot on this time around, saying: "This is all spot on... It still has that contemporary vibe that they've been going for the whole house."

But by the time the judges got to the shelves, Neale thought it was too high. "... It looks a little bit lost in here," he said.

However, Darren liked how they used the same shelves throughout the house, noting it's exactly why the potential buyers were such a fan of their home.

Rachel and Ryan's redo room was their first bedroom and changing the colour of the green wall made the judges instantly perk up.

"It's beautiful," said Shaynna. "They've changed the colour to match the wardrobe."

Neale felt the wall colour was a clash with the wardrobes, noting that while he didn't mind the change, he thought it definitely was "not a change for the better."

Shaynna disagreed completely, arguing the different textures of the linen and furniture changed the room for the better.

"I feel like it suits the aesthetic for the rest of the house now," she said.

Ankur and Sharon.

Money spent: $12,187.

It was another week of harsh criticism from the judges for Ankur and Sharon. Upon entering the pair's guest bedroom, they all agreed it was a clash of colours.

While Darren called the room "nice", he said it wasn't exciting.

"If you're a 10-year-old that likes pretty things, then you would like this room," he said, suggesting the space might have been made for a younger person.

However, Shaynna disagreed saying it was clearly not a deliberate choice to which Darren responded: "Yikes."

"This is an adult guest room but to me? It's way off the mark. It doesn't feel lux," said Neale.

Shaynna thought the chairs were too big for the room, the artwork didn't match the wallpaper and the pendant was... well, just completely wrong.

Darren did find one positive though, saying this is the best paint work they've seen from Ankur and Sharon all season.

Upon walking into the couple's redo room (their living space), Darren was overjoyed.

"This was potentially the largest lounge/dining space in Block history," he said. "When we saw it in Lounge Room week, it just didn't work. None of this worked... This is so much better."

Shaynna praised the couple for "saving" their space but felt Ankur and Sharon needed to find the money to style the room a little more.

Overall the judges were happy with the couple's space. Neale encouraged the pair to "find their damn mojo again" or they might "regret it forever."

Dylan and Jenny.

Money spent: $19,062.

Next up are Dylan and Jenny, who got the judges excited upon seeing their guest bedroom.

"Well that's lovely," said Darren.

Shaynna praised the fluted panelling on the wall, the texture on the side lamps and the waffle texture on the blanket and the pillows.

"It's just gorgeous," she said.

Neale said he keeps seeing new features in the couple's house that he's never seen before, labelling it "gorgeous".

Upon seeing the pair's redo room, which was their living space, the judges were very happy.

"It's very different," said Shaynna. "It's full contemporary now."

Darren, Neale and Shaynna loved the palette, noting it was "perfect" in their new living and dining room.

Omar and Oz.

Money spent: $27,426.

Omar and Oz gave a number of new redo spaces this week, including their master bedder and second living space (this wasn't seen by the judges though). They even presented their previously unfinished powder room.

Upon seeing their guest bedroom, the judges really liked the colour palette with Neale saying it felt like a Japanese ski lodge.

"It's a really nice combination of colours and finishes and textures," he said. "I love that artwork... When the boys are good, they're really good."

Darren wasn't impressed with some of their styling, noting the "finesse stopped" at a certain point.

Shaynna felt the room was too cluttered with furniture. Overall, Darren felt the boys had perfected the space apart from "one or two things".

Their redo room this week was their master bedroom and it received instant praise from Shaynna who said it felt "so much fresher."

"The differences are so subtle yet so massive," said Darren. "The feeling of a queen-sized bed versus the feeling of a king-sized bed in the main suite is such a big difference."

Neale felt their master bedder and their guest bedroom "shares DNA" and have similar features.

The judges liked that Omar and Oz changed their reading nook into another walk-in wardrobe but Neale noticed the drawers and door couldn't be opened fully.

He recommended the boys remove the fretwork as it is a massive functional issue. The judges said that while they've kicked a lot of goals, they have just one more issue to fix.

After the judges scores were tallied, it was revealed Tom and Sarah-Jane and Rachel and Ryan would take out the win together.

Next week, all five teams will move from their homes to their sheds where they will complete a work from home space.
