'I'm not a regular mum, I'm a postpartum mum.' Lindsay Lohan's life with a newborn.

She might not be wearing pink on a Wednesday, but Lindsay Lohan is making fetch happen with a postpartum selfie.

The Mean Girls star and her hubby, financier Bader Shammas, welcomed a baby boy last month called Luai, which is an Arabic name meaning "shield or protector".

In a post on Instagram yesterday, the 37-year-old actress described her son as "the greatest joy in the world".

"I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery," she wrote alongside a photo of herself in grey shorts and a pale blue top with her iconic red hair trailing down her shoulders.

"Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world! My OOTD (outfit of the day) lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear. Because I'm not a regular mom, I'm a postpartum mom."

And even Aaron Samuels agrees Lohan looks like, really pretty.

"You've never looked more beautiful," the actor who played the iconic role in Mean Girls, Jonathan Bennett, commented on her post.

A representative for the actress revealed the baby news to People on July 17.

"Lindsay Lohan and her financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai," the rep said. "The family is over the moon in love."

Luai was born in Dubai, where the couple live.

Lohan previously announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post back in March, sharing a photo of a white baby onesie with the words "coming soon".

"We are blessed and excited," she captioned the post at the time.

The 37-year-old married Shammas last July after the pair got engaged in November 2021.

Sharing her engagement news on Instagram at the time, Lohan wrote, "My love. My life. My family. My future".

Rumours of their relationship first began in February 2020, when Lohan shared a now-deleted snap of Shammas.

The year before, the Mean Girls actor told Howard Stern what she was looking for in her next relationship.

"I want to date a guy that's a businessman: doesn't have Instagram, doesn't have social media," she said, "and is completely off the grid in terms of that kind of stuff."

These days, the couple live a relatively private life in Dubai.

"I felt so relieved when I moved everything over from London to Dubai. I would love to own a place in New York, and that's something I will look into in the future, but right now I'm okay with where I live," she told W Magazine.

"There's a certain calmness that I find there [in Dubai]. There's no paparazzi, no cameras; that's a big deal for me."
