‘They f**king got it so wrong.’ Olivia Frazer has truly had it with MAFS.

Two years ago, Olivia Frazer wed Jackson Lonie on Married At First Sight Australia.

The reality star, who has been outspoken about the edit she received on the TV show and the impact it's had on her mental health, has called out the program for getting "basic information" wrong.

On the anniversary of her TV wedding, Frazer reflected on her experience after feeling "nostalgic" about MAFS

And while there might have been some positive experiences for the reality star, who dated Lonie for 10 months after the experiment ended, she did shine a light on some glaring inaccuracies in the show.

"Just so everybody knows, I’m not from Newcastle and my best friend’s name is Isabella," she said. "So, just in case you think MAFS is accurate, watch this."

Frazer then showed her followers a clip of her initial wedding episode, where a voiceover described her as a bride from Newcastle who is "supported by her best friend, Isabelle and her mum, Sandy".

"Like, at least they got mum’s name right, but I’m from the Central Coast of NSW," she noted.

The reality star added the scene was a classic example for "people that think that MAFS is real or everything that went on was the honest to god truth".

"They lied to you about where I’m from," she continued. "There’s nothing wrong with Newcastle, I’m just not from Newcastle. I don’t know where they got Newcastle from.

"And my maid of honour, literally one-third of our wedding guests, they couldn’t get the name right. And that’s not even the nitty gritty stuff, that’s not even the hard-hitting s**t, that’s just basic information about me and they f**king got it so wrong."

The former MAFS bride also shared a post reminiscing on her past with Lonie.

"Ooooft two years ago today we took a big leap of faith and married a stranger," she wrote.

"Yeah, it didn’t work out with Jack and I in the long run. Yeah, the edit of the show was like a slow-motion car crash. But there was a huge amount of magic in this day and it’s forever changed my life. I’ll always be grateful for the magic."

The pair announced in August 2022 that they had split, four months after their season of MAFS finished airing on TV.

"There has always been a lot of love in our relationship and there will continue to be as we transition into friendship," she said at the time. "We have nothing but love and respect for one another, and no one is to blame for the end of this relationship. Simply a case of "almost perfect.'"

Frazer has been candid about her unpleasant experience on the show, telling Mia Freedman on No Filter that her edit has "been very detrimental" for her.

"I thought going on Married at First Sight would be a cool adventure. And then I could go on with the rest of my life. It's not the case. It's been very detrimental to moving on," she explained in 2022.

"I don't know how I go about the rest of my professional career. My dream was always to be a teacher and stand in front of a classroom full of kids and be a helpful mentor to them. I feel like now I can't, and now it's my worst nightmare... It's terrifying right now."

"It's happened so much now that I'm just sort of like, 'Yeah, whatever'," she says. "I don't want to say I feel like I deserve it because I definitely don't. Nobody does. There's a sense of... not immunity either because it does hurt when people do that. But it's the sense of 'this is becoming normal.'"
