Picture this: the invitations are sent, the venue is booked, the cake and flowers are ordered, everything is coming together. And then just weeks before your big day, chaos hits.
Not only are you not getting the designer wedding dress you paid for months in advance, but it was never even ordered.
This nightmare has allegedly been the experience of dozens of brides-to-be in Australia and New Zealand after boutique Primrose and Finch went into liquidation two weeks ago without warning, with a report stating the Auckland-based business is more than $300,000 in debt. Former staff, landlords and designers have also come forward claiming they are owed money.
Mamamia spoke with Kara Williams, whose fiancee Rebecca Timms purchased her A$2400 dress from Primrose and Finch’s Melbourne store ahead of their wedding in New Zealand, where same-sex marriage is legal.

These are just low life, and the more I read the more it infuriates me. How can these two possibly get away with this, and to read that its all been done before. I have dealt with him many times, and he is extremely good at this, hence still remaining to scam people. The manner that they portray themselves via phone or email with such a lovely demeanour. Absolute disgrace. I do hope the people who believe that these two are their friends, read all the information about them. I pity the 4 children, hopefully not a chip off the blocks they have as parents

This is just awful, I feel so sorry for the ladies that are affected by this. It's just not fair that people can do this. Please don't let this comment section turn into a I had my wedding for $50 & wore a dress from vinnies argument as they often do. These ladies are entitled to the dresses they have paid hard earned money for & deserve to look like how they imagined. I'm so sorry this has been taken away from you.
