Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth’s second son, has once again denied allegations that he had sex with Virginia Roberts-Giuffre when she was 17 years old in 2001.
Prince Andrew claims he was at Pizza Express in Woking on the night of the alleged incident, meaning he couldn’t have slept with the teenager that night.
The royal sat down with BBC‘s Emily Maitlis on Saturday night as he was questioned about his relationship with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Since Epstein’s death in August this year, details about the disgraced billionaire’s sex trafficking ring have continued to be revealed.
Prince Andrew, however, says he does not regret his relationship with Epstein.
“The people that I met and the opportunities that I was given to learn either by him or because of him were actually very useful,” the 59-year-old said.

Virginia Roberts-Giuffre says she was trafficked by Epstein who directed her to have sex with Prince Andrew, as well as his other friends, on multiple occasions.
Prince Andrew said in the interview that he has wracked his brain and “been through it and through it” but insists: “I do not remember anything.”

And did anyone see his reaction when asked about Epstein's suicide? There's a whole other article in that!
You'd think someone working at that Pizza Express would have remembered a prince coming in and would be able to partially corroborate his story, even if they didn't remember the exact date. I mean, that can't be the kind of thing that happens every day!
"But at the time I felt it was the honourable and right thing to do and I admit fully that my judgment was probably coloured by my tendency to be too honourable but that’s just the way it is."
Yeah, he sounds very honourable. Amazing. I can't believe no one stopped him from doing this interview.
Prince Andrew still has protection officers, so it would be logged somewhere. As for the nightclub and buying drinks, Andrew must have changed his habits from his Navy days when he would go out on the town with the 'boys', but never took money with him. Apparently, even now at clubs, his protection officer gets the drinks. It was his private secretary who urged to do the interview, whilst another staffer resigned in protest.
