Please advocate for yourself. I had IBS symptoms from about 16 years old, lots of nausea and bloating. Always told it was IBS or anxiety. By 35 after a miscarriage, I was diagnosed with stage 3/4 deep infiltrating endometriosis. It was throughout my pelvis and wrapped around my bowel. After enduring chemically induced menopause and 3 surgeries, I’ve managed to have 1 child and 2 more miscarriages. And I have always had light, short periods, perfectly on time but always bloated and lethargic at ovulation and a few days before period. My point is don’t let them dismiss endo if you don’t have “typical” symptoms!!!!
