women who get plastic surgery receive just as much hate as women who don't get it, probably more. the problem isn't wrinkles or no wrinkles, surgery or no surgery. the problem is people interfering in other people's lives and thinking they have a right to tell women how to look. still in this modern day, a woman isn't free to look how she wants or live her life how she wants without constant judgment. We should be free to do whatever we want, whether thats surgery or not.

Actually, I find articles like this are just another way for women to judge and shame each other for their appearances and enforce their ideas of "the right way to look".

There's just as much pressure to NOT have plastic surgery as there is to have it. Women in their 30s who use fillers receive constant verbal abuse about their choice. Just one glance at the media shows successful women are attacked for being "plastic" or in some cases just "too glamorous for their own good"...whatever that means.

I think the assumption that natural beauty is the only way to be healthy or a "real" woman is really hurtful and is used to attack women who look different from you. For example, after moving to Europe where women wear much less makeup and get less surgery than in Aus, I realised half the girls I meet have eating disorders or obsess over skincare. So, these "au naturale" girls certainly don't seem any healthier or happier to me. In our society, there's no way for a woman to look without being constantly criticised.

Real feminism is the freedom to look and do whatever you want with no judgement. I think you're beautiful with your wrinkles. I hope you can extend the same kindness and acceptance to me - a strong woman who uses fillers to make herself happy. That's what freedom really looks like. <3
