Want to know how your favourite celebs spend their days? Yep, us too. In Mamamia’s A Day in the Life series, high-profile people share everything from what they eat for breakfast, to their pre-bedtime rituals.

This week, we find out what life is like for content creator and business owner, Victoria Deng.

Mornings are Victoria Deng's favourite part of the day.

While most of us are hitting snooze on our alarms for a second time, Victoria – a full-time content creator, business owner, mother and all-around go-getter, is ready to go.

After waking up at around 6am, her kids, Koujok and Kashani, are also awake too.

"I feel like a good and productive day starts from the minute you wake up," she tells Mamamia. "And that's why I like to make the most of each morning."

Because Victoria is such an early riser, she likes to organise her day from the moment she wakes up.

After getting herself, Koujok and Kashani ready, she aims to get a good nutritious breakfast down. Lately, it's been oats with fresh blueberries and strawberries. Once the kids and herself are ready, the first place she goes after leaving the house is school and childcare.

Then, she gets to spend a little bit of time for herself at the gym. It's not always easy to get a workout in, but for Victoria, it's important to keep her body moving.

"Fitness is a very big part of my life. Going to the gym is one of my priorities. There are a few reasons for that. One of the main ones is my children," she explains. "I have always wanted to be that mum that can run around with them, help them train for different sports and just keep up with them as they grow."

"That for me is enough motivation to do anything, but I also l love the feeling of finishing a workout, both physically and mentally. I love to set achievable goals and work towards them."

With that being said, she's opted for Snap Fitness to be incorporated into her daily routine. Aside from the fact it's 24/7, allowing for the ability to get the body moving at a time that suits Victoria, they've made it easy for parents, especially mothers, to have support around the clock, set achievable goals and celebrate every win.

"I've been a member with them for a few years now and there are so many things I love. It's not pushy or intimidating and the sense of community is awesome," she says. "The atmosphere created by the community and staff is so welcoming. They are so helpful and there is no judgement."

Like most busy mums and business owners, Victoria aims to get a sweaty gym session in early. Her workout routine varies, but she always includes a good warm-up.

"Then, it's usually on to some weights and light cardio. This past year, I have just started to incorporate upper body exercises into my routine as well. Before that I would just do lower body exercises and cardio," she explains.

Victoria's advice to those thinking about going to the gym for their own mental health and to get their body moving is to first, speak to the club manager. This will assist you with getting a better understanding of your new potential gym.

"Ask any questions you think of, have a look around the gym and get familiar with it," she advises. "This will help you prepare for your first session and to assist in giving you that confidence of knowing what to do."

"Also," she adds, "Remember everyone else there is focused on themselves and their exercises… not on you."

Believe it or not, Victoria may be a content creator who shows her life openly to curious supporters – but, when asked about what she likes to throw on every day, she laughs.

"I will always be in my activewear in the morning – especially the days I go to the gym," she explains. "Then, once I'm home again and showered, I just want to wear something comfy."

These days, her go-to outfit is something light and airy like linen shorts and a body suit. If the weather (and time) permits it, she'll glam up with a dress.

Once she is home, Victoria focuses on getting stuck in to her work.

"So, working for myself and from home, most of my daily tasks and activities do somehow fit into content creation," she explains. "I have built my following by keeping things relatable, raw and real."

She doesn't just share the highs, but the moments some might consider 'mundane' too – from laundry and grocery shopping, to her fitness routine and cleaning.

"What works best for me is to work around my kids. Because I wake up early, I often have time to do anything that is quick to complete, before I have to get us all ready," she shares. "I will try to have my work completed by the time the kids arrive home from school and childcare so I can focus on them."

"If I am vlogging, they often feature in my vlogs and they love it."

Apart from her daily workout sessions, Victoria's all about including skincare in her self-care routines.

"Whether it's putting on a facial mask, applying foot cream, using body scrubs, or taking a long relaxing bath and reading a book (instead of a shower)," she says. "I absolutely love self-care and think it's something that helps me apply myself better during the day."

Victoria's days are busy and calculated – from the moment she wakes up to the second she finishes up her work to be with her children.

"Once the gym has been ticked off my to-do list, I like to come home and shower and get into the rest of my day. My days consist of work and home duties (laundry, vacuuming, tidying bedrooms – so much tidying!)," she tells Mamamia.

"To balance out my workload, I often complete one job at a time, making the beds then packing any orders I have, then vacuuming, and then editing my YouTube vlogs."

"This way I am doing everything that needs to be done and not losing interest in what I'm doing."
