"Like f***ing Ms Cayman again." Why everyone is still talking about Armie Hammer.

On January 10, Armie Hammer began trending on Twitter after an Instagram account, House of Effie, shared screenshots of graphic messages alleged to have been sent from the actor's official Instagram account.

In the alleged messages, which reportedly date back to 2016, Hammer spoke about drinking blood and described various graphic sex acts, which included sexual references to cannibalism.

"I need to drink your blood," one message read.

"I am 100 per cent a cannibal. I want to eat you," another said.

"You just live to obey me and be my slave. I will own you. If I wanted to cut off one of your toes and keep it with me in my pocket so I always had a piece of you in my possession?" a third message read.

At the time of publishing, the alleged messages from the actor have not been verified. Likewise, the messages are not confirmed to belong to the actor.

As the situation continues to unfold, here's everything we know.

What did Armie Hammer do?

Last week, Instagram account House of Effie claimed to have had an affair with Armie Hammer for four years. (The Call Me by Your Name actor separated from his wife of 10 years, Elizabeth Chambers, in July 2020).

The Instagram user has since claimed that at least five other women had consensual affairs with Hammer. 

"We all got told we are perfect. That he wants to run away with us. That it’s our world and f**k everyone else. He loved us all in his and [his ex’s] bed and made us a cute omelette after," she wrote on Instagram.

"So we all had apartments ready for him around the world. So he met all our mums, and they all loved him. So he told us all to be monogamous to him and wait for his divorce," she continued.

"And if I hadn’t spoken out. None of those things would’ve made sense."

After sharing numerous screenshots of graphic messages alleged to be sent from Hammer, House of Effie claimed that multiple women had approached her with their own "affair stories".

"Women approached me with their affair stories as we talked overwhelmed with grief for days and nights without sleeping or eating, with some ending up in the ER," she claimed.

"We collectively decided we have to speak out after how we were treated and seeing how the women in 2020 were being treated by him. We cannot allow more women to endure what we are going through in the future."

After the alleged screenshots began circulating on Twitter, fans questioned whether House of Effie may have faked the messages, with some pointing out how easy it is to create fake Instagram DMs.

However, House of Effie doubled down, attempting to prove the authenticity of the unverified messages by sharing private photos alleged to be sent to her from Hammer.

"For those of you saying it's not real, I personally have been hearing these stories from MULTIPLE girls who had past flings with him. I didn't think much of it until I saw these messages. Be safe out there y'all these people are among us and it's NUTS," she wrote.

Since the messages were leaked, fans have noticed that Hammer follows a number of fetish and kink-related profiles on Instagram.

Similarly, in 2017, Hammer liked a number of graphic tweets about BDSM on Twitter.

In another tweet from 2018, the actor bragged about his steak-carving skills.

The actor also shared photos of a dissected pig on his Instagram page in 2015.

What has Armie Hammer said?

Following the release of the alleged messages, Armie Hammer has chosen to "step away" from his upcoming role in Shotgun Wedding alongside Jennifer Lopez.

The romantic comedy film was set to start filming in the Dominican Republic in February.

According to reports, Hammer "has requested" to be recast in the film "given the imminent start date".

"We support him in his decision," a representative for the film said.

In a statement to Variety, Hammer said: "I’m not responding to these bullsh*t claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic. Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I’m grateful to them for that."

Armie Hammer says that he won’t respond to “bullshit claims” regarding his sexual fantasies, including cannablism.

Hammer, who is known for his outspoken views, has opened up about his sex life in the past.

In an interview with Playboy in 2013, Hammer shared: "I liked the grabbing of the neck and the hair and all that. But then you get married and your sexual appetites change."

He continued: "And I mean that for the better — it’s not like I’m suffering in any way. But you can’t really pull your wife’s hair. It gets to a point where you say, 'I respect you too much to do these things that I kind of want to do.'"

The 34-year-old actor later blamed alcohol for his comments.

"Let’s just say hindsight is 20/20," he told E! News. "Don’t drink during an interview."

In an interview with Netflix Brazil in November 2020, Hammer was also asked: "What historical person would you like to have dinner with?"

He responded: "Marquis de Sade."

Marquis de Sade was a French philosopher who was famous for his works about violent sexual fantasies. The words sadism and sadist were derived in reference to the writer's works of fiction.

What has Elizabeth Chambers said?

Armie Hammer's ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, is reportedly "shocked and sickened" by the alleged messages.

"A lot of these women have reached out to Elizabeth and although she didn’t want to admit it to herself at first, she knows now they are speaking the truth," a source reportedly told the Daily Mail.

"Armie had a whole other side to him that she wasn’t aware of. Whether it was always there and he kept it hidden, or something happened that changed him completely, she doesn’t know."

However, Chambers hasn't released an official statement on the matter.

Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers met through a mutual friend in 2006. At the time, Chambers was dating someone else.

"Our friendship continued to grow and grow until one day when I was like, 'I can’t be friends with you anymore. You’ve got to break up with your boyfriend, and we’ve got to start dating,'" Hammer told Vulture.

The couple got married in May 2010 and welcomed two children together, six-year-old daughter Harper and three-year-old son Ford.

In July 2020, the couple announced their split after 10 years of marriage.

"Thirteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents. It has been an incredible journey, but together, we've decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage," Hammer shared in a statement on Instagram.

"As we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority."

What has Jessica Ciencin Henriquez said?

Writer Jessica Ciencin Henriquez, who reportedly briefly dated Armie Hammer last year, addressed the actor's alleged Instagram messages on Twitter.

"If you are still questioning whether or not those Armie Hammer DMs are real (and they are) maybe you should start questioning why we live in a culture willing to give abusers the benefit of the doubt instead of victims," she wrote.

"Because some of you made it to adulthood without knowing what this is. Abuse: cruel and violent treatment of a person or animal."

She added on Instagram: "It takes an army to hide a predator. Behind every abuser is a team of people working hard to cover up the trail."

In September 2020, Henriquez was photographed alongside Hammer in West Hollywood. However, their rumoured relationship was short-lived, with Henriquez sharing in a since deleted tweet that she had blocked the actor on Instagram.

"He seems like a very sweet guy, but he reminded me a bit too much of someone else," Henriquez told People.

Another woman who was recently linked to Hammer, model Paige Lorenze, posted to Twitter after the screenshots were leaked.

"Yeah girl, I'll send you the number," Henriquez responded.

What has Courtney Vucekovich said?

Courtney Vucekovich, who dated Hammer from June to August, described their short-lived relationship as emotionally abusive.

"He quickly grooms you in the relationship. He kind of captivates you and while being charming, he’s grooming you for these things that are darker and heavier and consuming. When I say consuming, I mean mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, just everything," she told Page Six.

"He sucks out all the goodness you have left. That’s what he did to me. I gave and gave and gave until it hurt."

In the interview, the 30-year-old app developer described Hammer's behaviour in their relationship as "obsessive", claiming that the actor would text her 100 times per day when they weren't together.

"I wasn’t safe," she said. "I had this gut feeling the whole time that this was not right. He’s not well."

Although Vucekovich was unable to confirm whether the alleged messages were legitimate, she admitted that they weren't surprising.

"He said to me he wants to break my rib and barbecue and eat it," she told Page Six.

"He says, 'I want to take a bite out of you.' If I had a little cut on my hand, he’d like suck it or lick it. That’s about as weird as we got."

After ending their relationship following an argument, Vucekovich checked into a 30-day therapy program for PTSD as she was struggling with panic attacks.

Does Armie Hammer have a private Instagram account?

Last week, a video from Armie Hammer's private Instagram account was leaked.

In the video, Hammer filmed his Cayman Islands hotel room, sharing a glimpse of a woman in lingerie on the bed.

"Well... my ex (for very good reason) wife is refusing to come back to America with my children. So I have to go back to Cayman... which sucks," the actor captioned the post. 

"Except there are a few silver linings. Like f***ing Ms Cayman again while I’m down there."

The leaked video led the Miss Cayman Islands Universe Committee to release a statement, confirming that the woman pictured "has no affiliation to the Miss Cayman Islands Universe pageant".

"The Committee is very disturbed by the video and would like to confirm that the woman is not the reigning Miss Cayman Islands," the statement read.

"The depiction of the woman in the video goes against all that our organisation stands for and the committee is consequently requesting that Mr Hammer immediately remove all reference to Miss Cayman from his social medial channels."

Since then, Hammer has issued an apology, confirming that he does have a private Instagram account.

"I would like to clarify that the person in my video, which was stolen from my private Instagram, is not Miss Cayman," Hammer said in a statement.

"I am genuinely sorry for any confusion my foolish attempt at humour may have caused. My deep sympathies to Miss Cayman, who I don’t know, and to the entire organisation, as I had no intentions of implying she was actually Miss Cayman."
