Sending you so much love and support Clare, thank you for this incredible article. Worthy of award winning status IMO. Your birth story is so important to share and talk about, all part of the healing. I felt it in my waters that you'd had a very serious birth since Matilda came along and the strength you show in sharing this experience is so inspiring ๐
My daughter came earth side with eerily similar traumas and I had the added fun of an epidural blood patch the day after delivery, which is what your anaesthetist was likely referring to. I wont go into the detailed fun of that little birth bonus. In turn, I refused all visitors to the fancy private hospital except my Mum and husband and lay in absolute despair for 3 solid days wondering what the f*@k just happened! Then lots of psychology and processing the ordeal, which was and continues to be invaluable. My daughter is now 14 and actually loves hearing her birth story as it is very unique, just like her! ๐ Big hugs to you xo
As an ex flight attendant, be warned that the arm rest hack is only available in certain rows, not every row. Itโs there to assist people who board using a wheelchair, which is very common on flights ๐
Glad Iโm not the only one!! ๐ anxiety levels are high!
Love this piece so much! Thanks for the lols ๐
Iโm team Holly for this one. Hubs & I have always stayed in same bed, your couple relationship is so important during this night time busy parenting time. Going to bed together to read, talk/debrief, snuggle etc. Then when bubs wake up multiple times, yes my partner was woken too. But he would check in with me to see if he could help & then go back to sleep while I breastfed. This support really helped me get through it. Itโs not about who should get the best sleep but about being a team. My two bobs worth ๐
Thank you a trillion times over for this article Holly. Resonates with me very much.
Virginia says โI'm now into six years of being a mum, and only now I'm feeling like I understand it all. โ oh honey.. wait for the teenage years, thatโs when the real (un)fun begins!
Iโm fairly certain it was 55 hours that Britney & Jason were married, not days ๐
Great piece Holly! X
Iโve been wondering the same ๐ค hasnโt appeared anywhere for me & Iโve just paid up as a new Mplus member
Thanks for this article Gemma. This whole situation is appalling & the government has a lot to answer for. Meanwhile Scomo is at the cricket acting like everything is sweet as, makes my blood boil!! We are being let down severely with no decent leadership.
I'm shocked 'It's always sunny in Philadelphia' doesn't rate a mention. Very entertaining show and about the absolute WORST (and hilariously funny) people.
